Amanda Bunting
Comen started her career as an intern at the Center for Women and
now works full-time as program coordinator for the organization.
"I wanted to
continue to work with women that inspired me as well as challenged
me every day," she said.
Comen designed and
maintains the Center for Women Web site while overseeing
membership, event coordination and program management.
Professionally,
Comen is focused on balancing the various facets of her life.
"As a new mother, I want to be an example to others on how to
balance family, work and community involvement," she said.
Comen also serves
on the Leadership Charleston steering committee and on the
Charleston Young Professionals steering and Web committees. |

the day and why: When
my husband comes home from work. That’s when we get to spend
quality time together with our newborn son. |
