Winfrey, an interactive event held at the North Charleston
Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 25, 2006.
Oprah's Angel Network, a public charity
formed in 1998, encourages people to use their lives to make a
difference in the lives of others. Oprah's Angel Network supports
charitable projects and provides grants to non-profit organizations
across the globe that inspire individuals to create opportunities
that help people rise to their own potential. With one hundred
percent of all funds from individual donations, celebrity
contributions and corporate sponsors going to the charity's
programs, the organization has raised more than $50 million to
