Empowerment Group

Separation and Divorce

Bringing women together creates a family of choice, a place where they can be comforted without fear of criticism, a place to exchange ideas and practice solutions regarding issues such as legal, financial, visitation, co-parenting, dating and housing. It is a place where women can laugh and cry together. It is a safe place. It is a place where shattered self-esteem can be healed and growth can take place. Lindsey Davis, LPC, LMFT, CAC

Women Writers Forum

The Book in You

Everyone has a book in them: But how should you tell YOUR story? Decisions, decisions, from fiction to non-fiction, memoir to creative non-fiction – the advantages and disadvantages new writers face and how to drill down to what genre will best fit the book that’s in each of you! Featuring Penguin USA editor and former Random House asst. editor Signe Pike, whose own book Faery Tale releases this November. Faery Tale is a true life journey that took Pike from the concrete jungle of Manhattan to the highlands of Scotland, the hills of England and the seas of Ireland on a search to believe in the magical little creatures we call faeries!"

This program is funded by a generous grant from the James O. and Harriet P. Rigney Endowment of Coastal Community Foundation of SC

In Partnership with Lowcountry Initiative for the Literary Arts.
