Empowerment Group

Separation and Divorce

Bringing women together creates a family of choice, a place where they can be comforted without fear of criticism, a place to exchange ideas and practice solutions regarding issues such as legal, financial, visitation, co-parenting, dating and housing. It is a place where women can laugh and cry together. It is a safe place. It is a place where shattered self-esteem can be healed and growth can take place. Lindsey Davis, LPC, LMFT, CAC

Empowerment Group

Non Fiction Writers

Whether you are writing your memoirs, drafting personal essays, or working on a nonfiction book, you are welcome to join this group. Because we have only four meetings, each writer needs to have no less than thirty pages already written. Come ready to share your own writing, receive feedback, and be part of that same process for other writers. Together with the writers, the facilitator will help create a constructive and supportive writing group. She will also provide supplemental reading materials per members' requests. Mary B. Johnston, editor, Wordworks
